“FROM A PLACE YOU WILL NOT SEE, COMES A SOUND YOU WILL NOT HEAR”

Essential to the mission of the military, a sniper is a precision marksman operating from a concealed position, whose duty is to remove high-value targets from the field of battle. Often tasked with reconnaissance and surveillance as well, it is the consummate skill of the sniper that makes him an important asset in any tactical situation.

Because a target must be completely neutralized for success, snipers, accounting for the effects of gravity, wind and air resistance, must deliver a lethal shot from great distances while remaining completely still and hidden. When effective, the killing shot is delivered without discovery, often saving lives as a result.
